Application process for students
Sign up now for travel coverage and infectious disease coverage for $75.00.
Coverage also includes trip cancellation or interruption and 24/7 assistance services. Once your coverage is activated, your travel insurance will be effective until the following August 31.
You can extend your coverage to your dependents!
Please note that this optional travel insurance is designed for individuals whose plan does not already include travel coverage in their basic plan, as well as those who are not yet covered but will be soon. Not sure if you are eligible? Contact a member of the team at student@majorplan.ca.
Baggage and travel delays option
With Allianz’s non-medical coverage, you can enjoy protection in the event of lost or delayed luggage, travel delays, trip interruptions, and travel accidents. Rates start at $27.25.
It is also possible to extend coverage to your dependents!

Travel coverage for accompanying persons
Plan Major offers accompanying persons the option of purchasing the same travel coverage as students. Accompanying persons may be a parent, teacher, or any other person recognized for this purpose by the institution or student committee (e.g., a sports coach).
Accompanying persons can thus benefit from comprehensive travel insurance at an affordable price.
Membership process for accompanying persons
By purchasing coverage, accompanying persons will receive the same protection as students. Daily coverage will begin on the day of departure from the province and end upon return to the province.

Sign up now for travel coverage for $6.50/day + $10 administration fee to open the file. You will receive the same coverage as students.
