Coverage period
The coverage period runs from September 1, to August 31, 2026, with eligibility contingent upon maintaining student status and membership in the student association.
Fall: September 1 to January 31
Winter: February 1 to August 31
Plan Enrollment
The fee is billed directly to your institutional invoice. It is divided into two payments, the first during the fall semester and the second during the winter semester. In order to submit a claim and obtain a refund, please ensure that all fees on your school invoice have been paid. Below are the details of the fee for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Coverage Activation
Did you answer “no” on the form about transferring your personal information during the billing process, but still want to join the group insurance plan? Here’s what to do ↓
To activate your insurance coverage, you must fill out the following form to allow your personal data to be sent to Plan Major. Activating your coverage will allow you to file health/dental claims.
1. Complete and sign the form (it is important to fill in all fields on the form).
2. Send the form and proof of payment for your institutional invoice for the current semester to student@majorplan.ca.
3. You will receive an email confirmation that your activation request has been registered.
Please note that once your file has been activated, your personal information will be shared with insurers or insurance plan providers for the sole purpose of ensuring the proper functioning of these services.
Family Coverage
To take advantage of an affordable family plan, you can extend your plan coverage to your children and/or spouse during the change period.

For the fall session: August 29 to September 28
For the winter session: January 29 au February 28
