To file a claim for accident and travel insurance, please contact American International Group (AIG) directly.
Here are the steps to follow for accident and travel insurance. When contacting AIG, you will need to provide your name, certificate number, and group number.
Accident claim
You can file your claim by contacting American International Group (AIG) directly at 1-877-317-8060 or at AHClaimscan@aig.com
Please note that when filing a claim for care received following an accident, accident coverage always applies secondarily. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will be happy to refer you and assist you with the process.

Travel claim
Visit the website globalexcelservices.com/fr and click on “Start a New Claim.” Follow the instructions to submit your claim online. For any questions, you can contact AIG Canada Insurance Company at AHClaimscan@aig.com.
To submit a trip cancellation or trip interruption claim by email, send your request to assistance@globalexcel.com.

Travel assistance when you are abroad
In the event of a medical emergency, and if possible before receiving care, it is important to contact AIG quickly at the numbers listed below so that they can verify certain information:
- Confirm insurance coverage
- Pre-approve treatment
- AIG will then be able to recommend places for you to receive treatment abroad
