Student Assistance Program

The main function of the assistance program is to offer psychological support to members.

 

The Student Assistance Program provides access to several consultation services provided by specialists. You can receive psychological and legal support, as well as advice on your well-being and/or budget management. Interventions focus on short-term problem solving.

 

In addition, the SAP provides an online toolkit to give you easy access to advice, support, and a variety of digital content on various topics.

 

 

Start a consultation

Get confidential support to help you manage anxiety, depression, stress, grief, life changes, relationship conflicts, and much more.

 

Go to the Maple portal to create your profile using your health/dental group number and your certificate number. You can then start a conversation with a member of the care team. Click on “Maple Assistance Program” and access the program options.

How to register?

 

1. Visit getmaple.ca/planmajor and enter your health/dental group number and certificate number.

 

2. Complete your profile details and create a Maple password.

 

3. Download the mobile app (or access it via the web) and log in to your account.

 

4. All Maple tools and services are accessible from your personalized dashboard!

Access to a content platform on various topics related to health and wellness.

The number and duration of sessions vary depending on the topics discussed. An experienced specialist with a postgraduate degree will work with you to understand the issue and provide appropriate support.

 

Each session lasts approximately 60 minutes, and the number of consultations varies depending on clinical needs in the short term.
